§ 01 / What's coming
Wine has been talking to itself for decades. We're about to interrupt.
Bottled Rebellion is wine stripped of the theatre — no velvet ropes, no vintage lectures, no dusty rules. Just flavour, purpose and a pulse, dropped like records and backed by receipts. We're not telling you everything yet. That's the point. Get on the list and you'll be the first to see what we've been making.
§ 02 / The short version
Five things we believe.
01Wine is cultural, not ceremonial.
02No gods. No grapes. No gatekeepers.
03Premium without the performance.
04Sustainability with receipts — never greenwash.
05Drink what you believe in.
§ 03 / Why join now
First through the door.
PERK 01
Early access to the first drop
The launch run is limited. The list gets first pour before anyone else — before it's anywhere near a shelf.
PERK 02
Founding crew status
The people who showed up early get treated like it — recognition, perks, and a say in what we make next.
PERK 03
The Dispatch
The occasional insider note from the desk, on Substack. One drop, one idea, one playlist. Never filler.
§ 04 / The bigger picture
Built by people who know wine — and are done with the theatre.
Bottled Rebellion is the first brand from Winemakers Rock, the modern wine company founded by James Wood. The mission behind it is serious: build wine brands people can actually believe in — credible, transparent, commercially disciplined, and genuinely worth drinking.
The noise is deliberate. The substance is real.

§ 05 / Receipts, not greenwash
Most of what you pay isn't the wine.
Before a single grape is pressed, tax and distance have already taken their cut. Duty, VAT and freight are set by governments and geography — not by us. We can't change them. But we can show them to you.
Every bottle on a UK shelf carries the same stack of fixed costs — transport, handling, storage, duty and VAT — whether the wine inside cost £4 to craft or £40. None of it is the wine, and none of it is ours to set. We just think you should see it, in order, on every bottle. Scan the ProofTag QR for the full picture, grower to glass.
§ 06 / From the founder
A note to anyone still drinking by the numbers.
I've spent a career inside this industry — watching it get quieter, posher, and less relevant to the people who should love it most. Bottled Rebellion is the answer. Real craft, plain language, receipts on the table, and wine that earns its place in culture — not in a catalogue.

§ 08 / Last call
Be first through the door.
The first drop is coming early winter 2026. The list opens it first. Don't hear about it after everyone else.
